I wouldn't recommend anyone to purchase this item coz you looses money..

I've been patient to observe any change but after one hour of running, water stayed still inside the tank and no mist coming out at all. Hope the next one coming to work rather than being sent back again.

Mist flow at the bottom instead of the nozzle.

Didn’t keep the room humid

Posted .Thank you for this feedback. This Honeywell Humidifier turns the water into a mist and throws it out into the air. Whatever minerals/elements are in the water are also in the mist being put out by the machine. As the moisture evaporates into the air, the minerals/elements are left behind and will settle around the room as dust, and in most cases it is white. It is not harmful in any way, it is just the contents of your water. To prevent this from happening/reduce the amount of dust, distilled or purified water can be used in your machine. The amount of white dust you get is directly related to the hardness of your water. We hope this information is helpful. Great humidifier - Quiet and efficient

It is probably the quietest humidifier on the market and it works very well with a lot of mist. We bought two of these about 2 weeks back and they both have been running without any issues. This humidifier is also less messy when filling compared to the other ones.

We burn a lot of wood during the winter and this has been a nice addition to help our skin feel less dry and flaky. This was an impulse buy, but seems to be a good deal for the money I paid.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this 12/27/18. When this was working properly, it was fine. Like all ultrasonic humidifiers, it emits a very high pitched noise which isn't noticeable all that much during the day but very noticeable at night. It's bearable and you eventually get used to it. On 1/15/18, I had turned it on in the morning and noticed a sharp "whirring" sound. This occurred on all "settings". I let it run for about 30-45 seconds before turning it off. I tried it a few more times and eventually, the sound went away. I thought it just might be some kind of quirk. When I went to turn it off I noticed that some water had pooled on the base. Nothing drastic, about the length and width of a roll of quarters. I thought I'd splashed some water onto the dresser when I placed the tank back on after a refill. I woke up this morning and water was everywhere. I'm not exactly sure where the leak is coming from and I don't know if the leaks are a result of the noise I heard. I'm going to run it overnight again to see if I can find out exactly where the leak is coming from. Either way, I wanted to leave this comment here to warn others. I've sent a request to the company to see if they'll provide a replacement. The reason I'm not giving this a one-star review is that the opening to the tank is large enough to fit my hand in there to clean. That's pretty useful!

Epic Fail

I got home, excitedly opened the package, read the directions, and thought wow this is easy to use! I filled the tank up, carried it up my stairs to my room, plugged it in, and turned the dial on only to discover the loudest whining noise that no person could ever sleep through. Returning it tomorrow and researching other brands. Honeywell, what happened to your tried and trusty brand? Epic fail. And the notice in the box about not returning it to the store? Yeah, not listening to that. Need something else now and not wasting my time sending it back to you.
