It wasn't the honeywell. With exception of the unit great but rather pay 400 for one store and 699 from the other.

We tried using it solo for a while, but it didn't do nearly as good a job as the old 8K BTU window unit. It does push out cool air and is much quieter, however, it just doesn't keep up. I figured it would do a lot more for claiming to cover up to 550 square feet.

This unit is temporary while my HOA does some roof renovations and can not install a split unit. This unit works great and it is not too loud for being such a big A.C. I would need four of these to keep my beach hut (1000 square feet) actually cool though.

Decent air conditioner

Great product, did exatly what was needed

Best Buy gave us a great price and the Best Buy associates helped us lots.

Very quiet- just wish it cooled a bit better.

Room environment conditions such as ceiling height, sunlight, number of windows/ doors and level of insulation can affect cooling efficiency and there are ways to increase the capacity of these units.
