Because of its single hose exhaust design it creates negative pressure in the room, this leads to hot air being pulled inside the room being cooked therefore negating it's cooling. I returned these and but a dual hose portable AC.

When I opened it you can tell it was repackaged. The plastic was not on properly, the Styrofoam was all broken and there were missing pieces like the remote and the window mount. The delivery kept getting delayed. This was impossible. Best buy was nice about it setup a pickup for this and sent out another one. They are sending me a gift card, but it wasn't much. Again the 2nd delivery kept getting delayed. This new one was damaged as well (broken power cord )when it finally came. and I'm waiting for them to pick it up. If I can get a working one I could then decide if I can recommend it or not

Can't cool a room effectively

We were disappointed. the opening that lets out air is half the size of Lg and it is a big difference when it is on and its hot. If i had to buy another, i would choose LG over Honeywell for that reason.

The unit didn’t remove moisture automatically you had to dump the reservoir. The unit would not pull a 12 x 12 bedroom. After 15 minutes of using the unit the vents that open and close jammed. I would not suggest this

Kept shutting off

When its over 100 outside the coolest it brings tge 199 sq ft garage is 82 degrees. 110+ then forget it!! Garage is insulated and sealed. This AC does not keep up. Even a 550 sq AC for a 199 sq ft garage.

Think again. This for one does not cover an area of 550 sq ft. Maybe 200. Second my house is humid enough. It stayed at 70% last weekend and while using this it went up to 88%. I have a smart thermostat that I can monitor on my phone. I monitored the ac before I bought this and while using this. I then cleaned my coils outside off and then monitored that. From before to after using this machine was the worst. I am enjoying the temp in the house now knowing this is gone. I returned this. Read a review that said it’s just an overpriced fan. Go fiqure. Spend 600 on something worth keeping. Maybe calling an HVAC technician.

We put it in a small kitchen with one doorway to a dining room and never lowered the temp even 1degree. These are much less effective than window units - no comparison whatsoever. And for the price you just aren’t getting much. We returned this and will figure out window units.

Poor product
