I purchased this in January of 2014. I was looking for a low profile heater that would heat a small area, without much noise. This heater fails on all fronts. First off, it is terribly ineffective. It doesn't heat from the ground level, the element is about 16" off the floor. Hot air rises so for me it would be more effective to heat the cool air on the floor first and let it rise, but it doesn't. It ends up using more energy to heat the room...which means higher electric bills! Secondly, this heater is LOUD. I can fall asleep anywhere and noises don't bother me, but this thing keeps me wide awake! Thirdly, it doesn't throw much heat. I have a small Honeywell heater that is a quarter the size and throws more heat. Overall, I would stay away from this heater, there are better cheaper heaters out there.

The heat emitted was decent but it broke 2 weeks after the 30 day return policy. Now I have to pay to ship it back to Honeywell and also provide a check for return shipping. Best Buy did not return my email when I asked about a possible in-store return after the 30-day period.

This is a good product but didn't heat up the required footage as per box. It is meant for small rooms not medium to large.

I purchased this at a big box store. It worked very well at first, heated up a large room nicely. After a few months of occasional use (weekends only and not even every weekend), the amount of hot air that the unit puts out has decreased significantly, about a quarter of the air that it used to blow out. Now it won't warm up the room at all. We wondered if maybe a filter was clogged somewhere but there is no way to take it apart to see. Husband was a mechanic for many years and says the screw is one that he's never seen before and has no way of loosening it. I am so disappointed in this product and will never buy another Honeywell heater again. I came here to read reviews and hopefully find a replacement. I hope my review can save someone from wasting their money on this model.

Stopped working after 2 winters. Just long enough for the protection plan I paid extra for to run out. I only used it during the winter time, so it wasn’t run constantly.

What happened to Honeywell ? They used to make such great heaters. This one barely puts out any heat. I think it could compete with my hairdryer. Not worth keeping. Buy another model.
