This was purchased for the bedroom as a night fan, it was on the dresser and/or nightstand at various times and did not reach the person in the bed. There is a setting to increase the speed, but that makes it very loud. Additionally, there is a blue LED light that shines extremely bright in a dark room. It was very annoying for bedtime.
