Easy to operate for my 82 year old mom, plus I can check the settings from my phone for her. I also have this unit in my home so I can change the settings when I travel. Great for energy savings.

I love this thermostat...so easy to use whether on the panel itself or through the Internet. Bright and easy to read, monitoring your temperature and setting schedules is a breeze.

I loved the idea of being able to adjust this thermostat by my iPhone Honeywell app, however, it doesn't always work. In the middle of the night when it gets super hot upstairs I log into my iPhone app and manually turn the temp down, then, I notice even hours later when I wake up and go downstairs to check it, the thermostat stayed at the same pre-programmed temp...this happens constantly even though I've read the manual and followed the guide to change the temp multiple times. It seems like the app isn't always syncing with the unit on the wall downstairs because when I change the temp on the unit itself, it responds immediately. Overall it looks nice and is simple to use, just wish the app could actually change the temp from my bed upstairs, which is the whole reason we bought this upgraded version.

This thermostat is capable of reporting temperature problems should the heating system fail. My problem is that it requires a C wire to power the instrument, something my system lacks, and so I was unable to use it or rate it further.

Because of my particular setup I had to buy a transformer to power this thermostat, but once done it never needs batteries. I'm very pleased with the look and operation of this unit. I especially like that it's wireless and I can update settings from my laptop, phone, or tablet. Very nice!

My contracted didnot carry this model so I purchased it at Best Buy and had the contractor install it because I need a C wire added to power it. Yes,you can program a schedule into it Yes, you can connected to it over an internet connect as long as you have it connected through your home router. *Best feature if you travel it can be set up to send you an e-mail alert if your house temperature drops below a certain degree. This feature could save you thousands of $ in damages if your heating system were to fail during the winter. Just a hint this feature and others have to be set up from the Honeywell site Mytotalconnectioncomfort.com No, it will not lean your habits as the Ecobee or the Nest does and adjust the temperature when it learns your habits or defects motion.

This is my 3rd Honeywell thermostat. I use them for properties that I have put of state. Easy to use and program. The app for this thermostat is very user friendly.

This product almost got a 1 star, until I got my electric bill. First, it can be a pain to install it correctly. This is not really the products fault, but just a word of caution for people installing it themselves and are not the most handy. It's not difficult, but if your AC is not wired correctly, aka they switched some of the wires for different colors, then it can get annoying. Also, you must have a "C" wire for this product to work. This means it's a "non-battery" product and derives its power from the AC system. If you don't have this wire, it will not work. But if everything is wired good, then it should only take 10 minutes or less to install. Next, this product will run your Air Handler Fan as a cycle. Even if you turn this feature off, it will still do it. I thought it was going to cause a large electric bill because of this, but the opposite happened. My electric bill dropped over 30% and its 95 degrees outside. Also, the mobile control of my device works great. Once I learned all its little nuances, I really found myself likening this product.

I originally got a nest thermostat but it was making my compressor crazy and super noise. $75 dollars later... the tech that came to check it out told me that he'd been replacing a lot of nest thermostats because of this and many other issues. He recommended any Honeywell thermostat instead. I decided to get this one and I have not had any issues. It's not the high end one but it's wireless and you can control it via the app which is the only thing I was interested in.

Installed just as easy as described. Purchased one for upstairs and one for downstairs. Very easy to program. Great mobile app and good web interface.

Outstanding product, easy to install, very good technical support and great value. Only downside is that the device has a very thin form factor and leaves no room for excess wires. Wires must be able to be pushed back into the wall. Just need to prepare for it.

I had to install C wire to provide power to the thermostat. After installing C wire, actual installation was very easy and working great not only inside of house but also remote control through smart phone.

Attractive intuitive user interface. Remote access and control from smartphone. Sends Email alerts. Easy to install. Could not set alert threshholds from smartphone app or device, only from website, which was not obvious. I suppose a later app update will fix that.

Easy to install both the hardware and the app. No problems! I love that I can set it from anywhere. Easy to read for those of us that lose our glasses!

Excellent - love it! Excellent control of heat and A/C. Can control from my cell phone, laptop, desktop. Saving gas and electricity costs and extremely easy to program. Recommend highly.
