Gives plenty of setting options and allows for both weekday and weekend settings, among others. All in all, a very good instrument, just cannot say that for customer service. Again, don't expect any assistance from their customoer service personnel in India or wherever.

My older heating system in my house didn't have the extra cable that it needed to work. I ended up exchanging it for the nest system that didn't require that extra cable. I really wished I could have used the Honeywell Thermostat I liked the bigger screen. :-( I think that if it did work It would have probably been really great.

Posted .Hi, Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us. The Honeywell Wi-Fi thermostats do require a C-wire to power on. However, our family of Lyric thermostats does not require a C-wire. Please note, you would need a C-wire with our Lyric Thermostats if you would like HomeKit compatibility. Thank you!
