Great and easy piece of equipment. From installation to setting it was painless. Now I need to buy one for downstairs.

i wish it could be controlled locally (not through just through the cloud), but that problem isn't unique to this product.

I got this thermostat hoping that it would help with regulating the temp in the house better than our other one and it has done just that. Also, I like being able to adjust the thermostat from my phone as well as have it set so if everyone leaves the house it will turn the temp up to help reduce run time.

I bought two thermostats, for the upstairs and downstairs units. I love the ability to change the thermostats with my smartphone. My house was built in the mid 90s and it was a big hassle to get them installed. I thought I would be able to install them myself but an AC technician had to run C wires from the units to the thermostats. I wish the app had greater functionality such as setting up alerts and setting min and max temperatures (to prevent children from changing the system without permission). I can appreciate the ability to set schedules and control two different thermostats using the app. I have not figured out the best schedule yet, but I will keep making adjustments to get it right.

Looks great and works perfectly with the app. My only issue was installation. It did not want to click into the mounting bracket. Other than that, we love it!

Picked this up to replace older thermostat and wanted to go with something more modern.I installed myself and was easy with the video provided by honeywell on youtube. Easy to setup schedule and switch between heat or cool. Would definetly recommend and will be using again if i purchase a 2nd home

Once we installed this, everything runs automatically. We aren’t bothering to adjust heat or cold all the time. Good for lowering AC bills.

Great high tech item that was easy to install and looks nicer on wall

Out of the box I had to glue the bezel back on that was coming off. But aside from the poor build quality of the thermostat, it works like a charm. Easy installation and user friendly setup and operation. The app works great with it too. I like it so much I am buying one for my sister.

I purchased the Smart Thermostat by Honeywell for our house in Iowa in December. I liked it so much that I purchased the same product for our house in the East Valley of Phoenix. You can control your settings and the system from anywhere you can get an internet connection, with your smart phone or from your computer. I have had no problems at all from this product. The only thing you need to be aware of is it is a "smart" thermostat and it recognizes upcoming temp changes in your setting and seeks to have it at the proper temp by the time your next setting is due. That means in it's recovery function it will begin bringing the temp up sooner than the scheduled time and for us in Arizona, that was too warm in the mornings before we got up. Just need to readjust your temp change time in settings to account for this feature. I think this product is wonderful and would recommend it to anyone.

Easy 15 minute installation, including setup. Programming is a breeze. The WIFI compatability allows me to access my thermostat when I'm not at home. An assortment of background screen colors as well as the onscreen outdoor temperature and humidity percentage are nice features, too.

Works great for remotely controlling the temperature in my home. The only problem is that the clock does not keep the correct time. It is not a time zone issue; the time is off by 2 hours and 20-something minutes. There is no way to manually change the time since it is supposed to get this information from the network. Slightly frustrating issue.

I chose this WiFi thermostat primarily because of its compatibility with my Amazon Echo. Installation and setup were simple. I like that the outside temp (from weather underground I believe) is displayed on the face. This Honeywell was less expensive than the Nest that I was also researching and it seems to suit our needs better.
