I had an older Honeywell Air Purifier and replaced it with this one. This was a little expensive but I really notice the difference. It's neat that it will automatically increase the air volume when it senses allergens. It's funny to see the increase then I am cleaning my glasses with pre moistened cleaners. It is sensing something in them that causes the increase. I am very happy with it!!

This one happened to be defective (doing an RMA), but that will not affect the review score - the only negative aspect of these units is the software that you use to control it. If you unplug it or decide to run it outside the schedule, your scheduled times will reset. Honeywell spent more time designing the app for sales than actual user-friendly features, it seems.

The air feels fresher and cleaner. We run this at night in our bedroom while sleeping. Since we have two cats and plenty of dust and allergens we are thankful for this air purifier. The bluetooth app worked well with the iphone, but not so well with samsung galaxy 6. We are looking at purchasing a second one in the near future.
