This product does not have a humidistat as it claims under the overview and specification. Dont buy if you want to be able to see the humidity level of the room and to be able to set the humidity level. Pictured is what beat buy defines what a humidistat is but the product does not have

I tried both distill and tap water. Can't get it to run more than 10 minutes. It keep saying there is no water when the tank has more than half gallon left. What a piece of trash.

Got this and it was used. It already had hard water scales and mold in it.

I truly enjoy and am benefiting from my new BEST BUY Honeywell - HWM845 Warm Mist Humidifier with Essential oil cup, Filter Free - Black. It is ideal for me because I can use it easily in my living room, bedroom and elsewhere. I like it in the bedroom where it keeps me cozy and without dry mouth throughout the night. It warm mist humidifier provides me with a light agreeable mist when I wish to add that to the atmosphere. It was an ideal gift to myself before the Holidays get underway and I intend to use it throughout the New Year and for years to come : )

It works well and is almost silent. It does gurgle when the water refills the lower reservoir. I dislike that you aren't supposed to carry the filled reservoir by the handle. The top is fragile and feels weak. This is a future point of failure if you don't follow the instructions. I like the essential oil cup, which works with essential oils and Vicks VapoSteam. I fill the cup halfway with water and add the oil or VapoSteam to the water in the cup. You don't put the oil or vapoSteam in the water tank. It provides good scent coverage, but without the water, I found it to be too strong. I use tap water, but I must clean it every week because the scale builds up quickly. It shuts off when the water runs dry.

I think the Honeywell Warm mist is a great investment. This time of year house humidity needs more moisture. The use of heat and in the days that follow there are 2 reasons I bought it. One is health and it makes breathing easier and bronchitis is out there and it helps in treatment. I have met some. Two moist air holds heat better than dry air . Great value at Best Buy . Note the tank will not over do and no mold will form due to excessive overnight use. Easy to lift and clean. Thanks. Best Buy has restocked.

Quiet and easy to use, all around a great product.

I absolutely love the Honeywell HWM845 Warm Mist Humidifier! This little machine has been a game-changer during the cold, dry months. This is the first humidifier I have ever bought and I’m very happy with my choice! It is easy to use, you just fill up the tank with cold water, close the tank shut, lock it into place and turn it on. No filter involved. It has helped me sleep much better in combination with my air purifier. I have allergies that I treat with nasal sprays but they dry out my nose. The humidifier helps with that and I noticed it keeps my bedroom warm during colder nights. I’ve had this product about a month and so far no complaints.

Lifesaver during my bout with Covid 19. I used It with vicks inhalant at night while I was suffering with Covid 19 and I am certain that the humidifier had a huge benefit for my respiratory health during that time. I had a hard time with coughing and it was so painful to take in deep breaths and this warm air humidifier at my bedside helped so much with my breathing. I use It day to day with essential oils (not every day) and I love that feature as well. It’s not a diffuser but still puts the fragrance into the air and that is the main reason I chose this model. I got it on sale and it was worth every penny. The only thing I don’t like about it is that it doesn’t shut itself off. I don’t know what would happen if I forgot to shut it off and went to work. I worry that it could overheat and potentially cause some kind of fire hazard but so far I always remember to shut it off in the morning. It goes through the water pretty fast also when you put it on the high setting so it doesn’t last all night unless you use it on the low setting which is fine for every day. When I had Covid I had to fill it up every so many hours for it to make it all night on the high setting. Inconvenient but still was worth it for the benefits.

This is my 1st warm mist humidifier. Use it at night in 13x13 master bedroom during winter (in NY) when heating dries out air. Soft sound, works well, on high setting runs without a refill about 10 hrs, 24 hrs on low. Would have given 5 stars, but it requires weekly cleaning of several parts and honestly, that's a pain, but recommend for its ability to provide moist air at the right level.

Bought as a last resort and was pleasantly surprised. Was almost put off by the negative reviews but this thing has been running for a week straight on high setting only being turned off to refill the tank. I suspect those reviews might have not let the machine cool down before moving and trying to turn it back on immediately as that was the only time I ever had the reset light come on with water still in the tank. Overall works as intended and is quieter than expected on high setting. Easy to fill and operate, tank lasts about 8-10 hours on high.

This is a compact and quiet unit. It's easy to fill, last's significantly long when operating and turns off automatically when the water runs out. It works as advertised to add some humidity to the dry heated winter air. I would recommend it,, particularly at the price it is available for at Best Buy. It would be very good for a smaller room, like a bedroom. I went back and bought another one after using the first one for a few days.

This humidifier is a powerful little thing! It’s super quiet too which is a plus. I love the auto shut off setting as well. Very easy to use and refill. I like that it’s a WARM humidifier, perfect for fall and winter. I purchased for my plants but it also helps me breathe better.

Winter is here! (hehehe) Oh man can Chicago winters make your nose dry and agitate your sinuses. This was a great buy and goes right along the line of what humidifiers are going for. I like that it has an essential oil cup to assist for scents and other purposes, really easy to remove as well for cleaning. It lets out a decent mist, this is perfect for a small room, our room is a little big but it does the job. Nothing out of this world, easy to refill, great holder for transporting the tank, and easy cleaning. The settings are nice and the auto shut off helps. I would say keep it at the low level if you want it to last throughout the night, it burns quickly through the water at the high setting and you will have to refill the tank. No one wants to get up at 2am to refill a tank.

This is the second humidifier we have purchased. The first one was cool mist and did not meet our needs. We purchased a warm mist humidifier and it provides us the comfort we sought. It is easy to use and treats our large bedroom. It provides us with relief from our sinus issues making for a great nights sleep. I highly recommend this appliance!

Great warm mist humidifier. Easy to use, add water, & clean when needed. Good purchase. Works very well & quiet. I breathe better & I sleep better. Must have. I also bought the Honeywell humidity monitor. This helps to know humidifier is working well.
