Be sure to remove / empty the lower tray if not using for more than a few days - to extend the life of the heating element.

I'm completely against using these so it's not allowed in my house. I like my air as dry and desolate as possible. Humidity 35% and lower is my range. This evil machine will pump all the moisture into the air you desire. You'll not be woken by the sound as it pumps virus loving water into your lungs.
