It went through too much water when you had it at it's max and that is when it worked the best. Low setting didn't put out enough stem.

Excellent pros. Also, easy to maintain with very thorough instructions and some pure distilled vinegar.

It definitely helps add moisture to the air. Tip: This works best for smaller rooms. It is also noisy, so it might not be the best option for light sleepers.
