Majority of the reviews were positive so I went and bought this humidifier 6 hours ago. It will be going back to the store tomorrow. After running it for 2 hours and there still being 75% water in the tank, the unit has stopped producing steam and the red light has turned on indicating the water tank is empty. Super disappointed. Save your money. DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF JUNK.

It shut off after 3 hours and the red reset light turn on and after turning it off and turning it on after an hour the red light turn on. I got it because my infant daughter gets congestion after being outside for a long while so I thought this would help. I don’t recommend anyone getting this one , it’s too much of a inconvenience since to fix the reset light you have to fill the tank up or change out the water . It also take 3-4 minutes to start because it’s a heated humidifier so yeah the cool mist of a humidifier is much better since it works instantly. I exchange this one for Honeywell 0.5 Gal Ultra Glow Hum Diffuser which is working far better.

Daily fill is needed. The only other drawback is it very light steam. Even on high you can barely see and feel the mist coming out of the unit.
