Tested it out on high setting to see how much the temperature would decrease in a 100 sq ft room closed off. Dropped the temperature down about five degrees but if you run it on low, not much change if that's something you're looking at. It does make a noise when it's running but nothing out of the norm. On a full tank of water, it'll go on all night and part in the morning before needing a refill on the lowest setting.

I’ve gone through a number over the years and while they all do what they’re supposed to do they don’t seem to do it for very long. This Honeywell humidifier has been functioning well since I purchased it but I’m already seeing signs that it won’t last. It’s leaky and feels weak. The knob feels like it will fall off at any moment. I will revise my review if this ends up surprising me but as of now it’s looking like I will get one season out of it.
