Started loving this from the first day of using it. No more dry skin or itchy eyelids. I move this to the bedroom at night and living room during the day. Addicted to it.

I have had several Honeywell cool mist humidifiers. I bought this one because my last one finally quit and they no longer made the model I had. The humidifier does a good job at keeping humidity about where you want it (I'm using it in a 750 sqft apartment). The two things I don't like about it are; the motor, while I doesn't make any more noise than any of the other humidifiers I've had, it's a little whiny. The other issue is every time you fill the water, you need to flip the filter over in order to keep it damp. The problem is the filter sets in a water tray right above the fan motor. In order to keep from dripping water into the fan motor you have to take the water tray out of the humidifier flip the filter then replace it. It's not a big deal but it's kind of a pain.

The humidity in our house had dropped to 36%. We purchased this unit and in just one day the humidity was back up to an acceptable 49%. When the furnace is running, this unit pretty much runs 24/7 to keep the humidity at that level. It is not as quiet as I would like it to be even on the lowest fan setting. It goes through a full tank of water in about 24 hours. Not too difficult to fill the tank but requires a little maneuvering to place it back in the unit. Overall, happy with the job it performs.

    Good Humidifier for Bedroom/Large Room

The humidifier works well. It is quiet on the lowest fan setting so it is good for bedroom use. The highest setting gets a little louder but not too bad. Overall works well with the humidity control. The lowest setting keeps the room at about 35% humidity and the highest setting gets it up to about 60%. My room is about 250 sq ft and we leave our door open to get the humidity out to the rest of the house. Between this and a vick's small room humidifier it keeps our 2000 sq ft house at near perfect humidity.

The title pretty much sums it up. The original Honeywell filters from a few models ago was thick and lasted several months of consistent use. The newer replacement filters that Honeywell has started shipping out are noticeably thinner and barely last a month and a half. However, the humidifier itself is excellent. Despite the less-than-stellar filters, I decided to pick up a second unit for my mother-in-law's home. After over a year of using my first unit, I'm overall happy. The humidifier can run a bit loud at the highest setting, but the built-in UV sanitizer is a nice feature that helps prevent mold from being distributed by the humidifying process. The auto-humidity settings aren't set at visible percentages, but the icons get the job done. The large capacity tank will last roughly 24 hours running nearly full-time at the highest setting, so no getting up to refill the tank overnight. TL;DR: convenient humidifier with auto-humidity settings, hindered by filters that don't last nearly as long as advertised despite carefully following instructions for maintenance/care of filter.

Has humidity settings and 3 fan speeds. Has performed well in the month I have had it.You can hear the fan and the water gurgle into the unit when needed. So not a super quiet unit but most are not.

Have owned this humidifier about a month, and it has run continuously since we bought it. The good: Humidifies the air effectively for about 700 square feet where we have it Doesn't leave white film that ultrasonic humidifiers leave Is easy to take apart and clean tank and tray, or change filter - no tools needed Has UV light for bacteria reduction The not-so-good Is much louder than an ultrasonic humidifier, though not so loud that we find it really annoying (but we have grown used to white noise when we sleep from a HEPA filter) Needs refilling every 12 -14 hours when run on high with outdoor temperatures generally 0-20 degrees F. The automatic shutoff worked once and hasn't worked since, so I have to check

This product works great. For years I've suffered from dry air during the winter until now. Since I've gotten this product, the air in my apartment is more comfortable. Only bad thing, on the highest setting, it runs constantly and does not shut off which makes it run out of water faster. And on the lowest setting it will not turn on, at least not that I've noticed since after refilling the tank and turning it on at the lowest setting overnight , I've noticed no change in the water level. So you pretty much have to have the settings anywhere in between for it to automatically turn on and off. Other than that this product works great and would recommend it to anybody looking for a product that works well and won't exactly break the bank in price.

It works great for a large room. Not as quiet as other smaller humidifiers but it helps drown out cars going by as I'm a lite sleeper. Filter gets looking dirty or at least a strange orange color around the edges within a couple weeks. Shuts off when it is close to runner no out of water and has a blue light on top for being able to see the controls at night or as a nightlight.

The Honeywell humidifier works great, it keeps the dust down, your air is more breathable, the plants love it, I have an indoor jungle growing and it runs silent. You can control the amount of humidity and fan speed. It holds a decent amount of water, so you don't have to keep filling it up.

I was looking for an evaporation/wick humidifier in a market that is saturated with ultrasonics. Ultrasound models leave. Fine white powder everywhere due to my hard water and I'll be damned if I will buy water to humidify my bedroom. So this fills the bill. It holds plenty of water and has humidynand fan speed alternatives. The tank lasts a full day when the furnace is running full on. On the negative side the tank is kind of absurdly designed. The handle is part of the stopper somwhen you're filling it there is nothing to hold. The stopper is replaced and the filled tank is then inverted and tilted and tipped into the bottom housing. It's stylish but not that well engineered. The fan is NOT QUIET. It's not that bad on its lowest setting but it is NOT quiet by any measure. A noisy fan siggests low durability to me. A few years ago I bought a Holmes cool mist humidifier for about $30 or less. Frankly this machine has no great advantage over that machine although it does put more H2O into the air. So I'm okay with this purchase but I can't recommend.

We bought this for our master bedroom. It puts out great air. We have it in master bath and it does both rooms very well. If we fill tank it runs two nights before it needs filled again. Tank is easy to fill. It doesn't leak at all and we just put new floors throughout master bath and bedroom.

Nice 3 gallon size that takes several hours to empty. I also like the three speed fan option. Only knock I have, is the air is cold and it will make you feel cold blowing at you. I know I could spend the extra money to get one with a heater, wish I did now. Also, I dont think the humidity control button does anything but light up.

pros- tank is large, not to difficult to clean. At lowest setting can run for almost a full day without refill, at top setting about 9-10 hours. cons- tank design is flawed(since tank is filled from bottom there is always at least 10% of the tank empty.), on top setting is noisy, lowest setting still is not quiet so not good for bedroom. airflow comes from the bottom of the unit, should really come from the top. does not auto-shutdown when tank is empty. All in all it does what it needs to do and is fairly cheap for that, but it could be a lot better even at this price point.
