I like being able to set a target humidity level. Unit is bulky and not necessary for most rooms. Free standing is a good point. overall just too loud.

Several members have allergies to dust so I am glad to have the filters. The 3 gallon size tank makes it easy to refill and carry up 3 flights of stairs where we have it in the bedroom.

The fan can be a little noisy, but compared to the furnace we replaced, the new furnace + the fan on this is FAR quieter!

I bought this to help me sleep...needed more humidity to breath better. I use it before I go to sleep, but it is too loud for me to use when sleeping.

I do wish that the tank would last as long as advertised. They must have been running it on the lowest humidity setting to get anywhere close to 24 hours out of it. It will make it through the night on full blast, so maybe just under 12 hours. But still a good one.

It's attractive, not bulky, and I can feel the moisture in the air and by using the automatic moisture control setting, you do not have to worry about wasting energy.

The tank is heavy and it will not stand up by itself in the sink or tub as it is filling.There is a replaceable filter, but no part number in the owner's manual.
