Quite frankly, I am very sensitive to that kind of noise. It’s going back as soon as I can get it in the car. Never again. Cools okay but forget the RATTLE and its lack of reach.

Not sure eight different fan settings is necessary but they are there if you need them. I find myself only using 3 or 4 of them . The fan is supposed to be quiet but has had a squeaking noise at times (sometimes very noisy), like something is misaligned. I deal with this, when it happens by tweaking the fan and base a little.
