Had a Holmes Tower Fan that unbelievably lasted 16 years under hard use. Finally the motor went, and after some brand, and consumer reviews decided to go with this Honeywell QuietSet. Lower settings are indeed quiet. As speed is increased so does the "noise." This fan is effective at cooling our bedroom of 16x14 on the highest settings; and competent at providing sufficient air movement around the king bed area during sleep on the lower, quieter settings. Smooth oscillation when needed at approximately 90 degrees. The remote is limited in function, and distance; but a nice feature to have. Well designed overall. Solenoid controls, so non-mechanical wear is a plus hopefully for longevity. The front panel is well lit, and brightness is adjustable. Price matched, and excellent BEST BUY Customer Service to top it off.

I bought this one because of the Honeywell name and it is called QuietSet. It is ok, lots of breeze but the noise from White noise won't let me sleep. The remote is nice to have but they are missing the button for to turn off the lights on it. Other than that they also missed the setting for the timer, they give you 1 hour, 2 hours, 4 and 8 (what happend to 3?) Which is the one I usually would prefer. I was going to get this one Lasko Bladeless Tower Fan with Remote Control - Silver Model:AC615SKU:6357173 - I wish I had. I just checked the best buy website to compare decibels on each but they don't show that specification anymore.

Puts out a decent breeze but does make a fair amount of noise. Like that it covers a wide area. Don't like how every time you turn it off or change a setting the fan speed lights up and stays on.

The AC doesn’t function properly at work and we needed air! This was a quick grab that ended up making a day at work bearable! I like the multiple settings and the timer helps for when I forget to turn it off.

Love this fan. It is tall and circulates air effectively. I would buy it again.

Its a good tower fan. All the features work well. It is not a circular floor fan so be sure you want a tower fan.

This fan is perfect for a small room. Cools the room down quickly and the rotating option comes in handy. Would not recommend for a large room since the air does not travel far, but it’s great for a small bedroom

Fan is good, my daughter likes it. Not hard air flow but it moves air and is quiet

It was so hot outside and this product is fantastic!

Works amazing. Was just what we needed. Worked fast in small room. Larger room took awhile longer but certainly noticed a difference in temp.
