It also makes a whistling sound which often wakes me up at night. My husband likes this though, and it isn't bad overall just isn't the best fan I've ever had. We do like that it has a remote, and has many settings. As I mentioned though the high setting doesn't seem all that "high" to me.

From the beginning I was not super impressed with this tower fan. Even though there are 5 different speeds, the highest speed does not produce enough air flow. I have two other cheaper tower fans in my home for years now that are different brands and are much better! I’m very disappointed in this fan considering the amount of positive reviews and higher cost on this item compared to how it actually performed.

Even when not oscillating it will make squeaking noises, sometimes on the lowest settings. Not worth the money, would not recommend.

It is quiet but, I used it for my kids room and it doesn’t feel any cooler with it on and on full blast oscillating. Keep your money and spend a lil more for something better.
