This fan does a great job of keeping the room cool. I use this fan mostly on the 2 lowest settings which are whisper quiet, but it can get kind of loud as you use the higher settings.

Could be more powerful and generate cool air. I like that it has different speeds and oscillates. Good for other seasons not for peak summer thou.

2 Months in and fan speed button no longer works.

I'm glad there was an included remote. But the bad, Yesterday 9/12/16 the button to increase/decrease the fan speed no longer works. I can use the remote to control the speed but if/when that fails then it will only run on the lowest setting. Not happy since it has not been 2 months and already have an issue.

My wife and I were thinking about getting one of those bladeless fans for $300. We saw this one in the store when we went shopping and said "hey, why don't we try this one before spending that much money." Well, we haven't looked back. Use the Honeywell everyday and very happy with it.

The features I like most are the programmable delay and temperature display. It can be programmed to to switch off after 1/2/4/8 hours, or you can also set it to switch off after it reaches the set temperature.
