However, I found that even at the highest setting, a box fan (much cheaper to purchase) packs at least 10 times the amount of air flow as this fan. It's also flimsy--if you bump into it or knock it over, it's most likely going to break in some way. It's okay, and may be helpful a bit in late September/early October or in April/early May, but for summer time, it's pretty useless.
