I like this fan because it has so many options of speeds. The fan is quiet and the remote is so handy especially if used in a bedroom and you get too cool during the middle of the night.

The keyword is quiet... not so much powerful. Didn't cool a bedroom.

Not what I was looking for - noisy. Was hoping for cooler air. Returned item.

On my quest to purchase the perfect fan I bought this Honeywell - QuietSet Whole Room Tower Fan. I'm giving this fan 2 stars because although it is very quiet and does produce great air flow it makes a creaking noise when it oscillates. This could have been just the one I purchased but I don't think so due to the design. The fan sits on a narrow, hallow, plastic "neck" and I think this is what causes the creaking noise. So if you want a quiet fan that that produces plenty of air flow and don't mind the annoying creaking sound it makes as it oscillates, then this is the fan for you, as for me I returned it. Best Buy, as always, was very helpful and polite when I brought this fan back to the store.

I wanted a fan that will use the least footprint and this fan does that. The 33" height is just about right. Remote works and there is a built in spot behind the fan to put it in. Simple assembly and took less than 5 minutes. The base of the fan is all plastic and lightweight. It is sturdy enough but I would have preferred it to be on the heavier side. I like the built in room temp reader on the fan. I tried all 8 speed settings - first 4 speeds are too weak for my taste. I will likely just use the last 4 high speed settings. In comparison to my desktop Hunter fans, this Honeywell unit is not as powerful but a lot quieter. I can watch TV without having to blast the volume. When you turn on the fan, the light will be constantly on. As you change speeds, the light moves with it. So, from a distance, I can see what setting it is on around. I don't find it glaring unlike other reviewers. It will serve as my night light. Honeywell's fan warranty is only 1 year while 2 of their competitors provide 3 and 5 year warranties. Overall, it is a good fan but I think the price should be a little lower than it's current price.

I purchased this fan yesterday and Love it! Very Quiet and several speeds to choose from and shows you the temperature. Love the remote feature. I also purchased insurance...If I just decide I do not want it...can take back within two years for a full refund! But...I'll be keeping the HONEYWELL!!! THANKS BEST BUY!

It's not perfect but works pretty good. It's not as loud as I thought. I can tolerate a little humming noise. My room is 24x30 so it works really well for me. Hope this helps anyone with a room that size.

Perfect for our room its keep our room cool and the best park of it is that this fan is very quiet. It comes with a remote control that is a plus. I am very happy with this purchase. Easy to install!! The price is just right. I would recommend this fan for sure.

I've had this fan for almost two years now and still absolutely love it. It's very convenient being able to turn it off, on, higher or lower from my bed. There are a lot of settings to choose from that vary in the amount of white noise it puts out, temperature, speed, and rotation. I'm purchasing a second one for my daughter's room. I recommend this fan 100%!!

Love this fan because it has so many settings, many options for quietness and power of airflow. I like how it has the description of the noise level for each airflow level. Very sleek looking too

Keeps the room cool and doesn't take up much space. A good fan for the price.

i bought this fan back on 6/1/2015, it was running great, the remote is fantastic and the fan in general up until this point has been great, that is until the display panel started to go out. first it was just one light and now it seems like every time i turn it on another thing goes wrong with it. i don't write any reviews except for extremely great products or really bad ones... and you can guess what this fan falls under. really bad.... the quality is just not there for a "$65" fan..... maybe its just a bad egg, but then again maybe i wont buy from Honeywell or its parent company " KAZ " again.

Worked great for my dorm that had no AC. Had it running non stop for weeks. The electonic display does mess up after a week or so but it didnt bother me that much and I like that it had a remote.

Purchased two of these this past week. They are great fans! Cool a room and are rather quiet. I noticed a lot of reviews about missing screws in the box. This product goes together very easy. It uses snap together technology on the stem and there are male and female nobs that click together on the base. No screws. The fan is secured to the base by three knobs that you can hand turn and lock the fan into place. If you are looking for screws when you open the box, there will not be any. The fan is sturdy and well constructed even without the use of screws.

I bought it because I do not have a ceiling fan in my living room and I do not need AC all the time. Low cost useful fan for summer. I won't say a great product. I wish the speed could have been a little more. At the highest level also, I do not feel the fan speed is really picking up. But works well in oscillating mode. Look is great, but I would perhaps shell some extra money to rather buy Dyson.

The various noise level settings are great and so is the remote. Makes it easier for those with mobility issues.

Excellent product and cost-effective. Ideal for small spaces and also you have several options low, med and high. Quiet functionality.
