Decided to take the plunge and purchase this and set it in the bedroom. I don’t remember the last time I had such great sleep with clear nostrils and breathing. Will buy another unit for other rooms in the house.

This thing worked great in a fairly large room. As long as he stayed in that room, everything was clear and smooth.

Would probably work best in a smaller room with a door, but we are happy with it. Lots of settings to control. It's a bit loud on the highest setting, but you get used to the noise. Can't prove it's working to remove things from the air, but Honeywell is a trusted brand.

It has seemed to make no difference in helping with allergies, but does pull a lot of dust out of the air, as the prefilter gets coated with dust quickly. There are 3 settings and it is a little loud at the highest level, but not bad.

We purchased three!Oh so necessary with the bad air we are now experiencing in the bay area. The only problem is Best Buy does not offer the filter replacements for this machine (300 series). You have to buy directly from Honeywell site.
