Really a kids movie about Peter Pan who grew up, then back to Pan again to save his children. Not bad to wile away some time when you need some relaxation.

Hook was watchable. There are some funny, enjoyable moments, but overall it was just OK. It was hard to keep the kids' attention, especially in the beginning.

A classic tale that spans on too long. Purchased in honor of Robin's death. It means well and try's to keep us entertained but feels bogged down.

My family and I loved the movie, but I can’t say the 4K remastering was all that great nor the atmos remastering.

Great movie looks great in 4K, long live Robin Williams

First of all addressing other reviews, this doesn't demolish the Disney classic. LOOK AT THE TITLE it is Hook not Peter Pan. This movie takes place decades later, so don't expect this movie to go hand in hand with the Disney classic. To put it simply, Peter Pan had fallen in love with Wendy's grand-daughter and wanted to live with her for the rest of his life. Adopting the American lifestyle, Peter Pan has his name changed to Peter Panney, and gets too caught up in work and trying to succeed in all he can do by living the American dream. He forgets who he once was and takes the role as a hard-working husband and father. Peter Pan can't escape his enemies though, when Hook comes and takes his children and therefore provokes Peter Pan to return to Neverland. Peter Pan must relearn all his skills and remember what it is like to be a child and have fun in life. Spielberg did an amazing job, the actors/actresses were great for their parts. It is an adventure that is exciting from beginning to end especially for those who have seen the Disney classic.

This is a solid 4K disc. The new transfer really shines! The colors pop, and the HDR adds a nice layer to the darker and more colorful scenes. The movie, which I hadn't seen in years, holds up quite well. I highly recommend!

If you liked all the other versions of Peter Pan, than Hook is one of those movies that you would love in your collections. This time Peter Pan grows up and has forgotten all the Lost Boys, Tinkerbell, Neverland, and even Hook.

Run home after buying this (or drive... driving is preferable) and watch it immediately! This is a great one, and on blu-ray the picture is crystal clear! I purchased this right after I purchased my new HDTV! :)

I've always loved Robin Williams and this is definitely one you don't want to miss. I love the story. It takes the classic animated Peter Pan and gives it a concrete reality that is done splendidly.
