This movie was amazing when I first saw it. The idea of changing and expanding on the "Disney" idea is always something that can warp a fragile child's mind. With that said... this production was well put together. It still has that magic feel that other movies don't, or can lack by attempting to get a 'creative director'. You'll enjoy it - and bangarang rocks.

I love this movie. And I have always loved Robin Williams movies as far back as I can remember. He's just great.

This is a great live action Peter Pan!.........and R.I.P. Robin Williams....you will be missed!

classic movie, well worth it if you haven't yet seen it

I bought this to replace a Laserdisc copy I have. The blu-ray is a great addition to my collection.

Got a great deal on this title here at Best Buy, it was a welcome upgrade on all levels from my DVD version. Would have liked some film-related bonus features, like a making-of, however.

It's great to see childhood stories updated with a great caliber of stars. Everyone seems to be enjoying their roles, but the film runs a little long.

Hook is a great movie. The Blu ray transfer is solid but not spectacular. I think it is worth the upgrade over a dvd. Very good audio, with good picture.

This movie is a classic. It shows that at heart, you never have to truely grow up.

To the previous reviewer who said that this movie "demolishes a classic Disney movie"; the story of Peter Pan is in no way owned or created by Disney. It is a classic story by J.M. Barrie, and has as little to do with the Disney version as all of the countless other variations of Peter Pan. This movie is not so bad in my opinion. It's not one of his best but can be fun at times.

For some reason, I just don't like this movie...and yet I usually watch it whenever its on...

One of Spielberg's worst films in my opinion, 'Hook' demolishes the classic Disney story in a way you wouldn't think possible, which is odd considering the talent of the cast and production crew. I can't see anyone over the age of 7 enjoying this one.
