This vacuum didn't last. It lost suction and was a poor purchase. I don't recommend

Researched (a lot!) and almost bought a Shark. Decided on this vacuum instead and glad of it. Not near as noisy as our Rainbow! It is easy to maneuver, really pulls dirt and pet hair up into the collection tank and is so easy to empty. If you park it on the carpet to use the hose, just remember to park it in the full upright position and it locks the beater brushes high and up off the carpet. They may run,but they don't really damage or bother the carpet. One would expect that the engineers would think about such a thing and they did. Only when you release the head to pull the handle back does the main head go down on the floor to do the great job of sucking up all that pet hair and very fine dirt. Runs wonderful!!

I recommend this Hoover - WindTunnel 2 Rewind Upright Vacuum to everyone because its very powerful and works really great. Its easy to use and cleans my carpet and my floor really nice

this vacuum is a great buy suction on is very well i have accidentally sucked up socks because it is so powerful. also love the automatic cord rewind feature works very well

Wow! This is one power vacuum cleaner! I really like it, though it is a bit noisy I should add! But it takes tiniest specs of dust out of my carpet!

This vacuum is pretty easy to use and does a good job picking up pet hair from out two large dogs. The power chord could be longer and more resistant to nicks (keep some electrical tape handy). The collector bin is easy to remove and reinstall but the emptying procedure is definitely messy as the hair and very fine dust always manages to escape the trash bag we are aiming for....on well, we just vacuum those bits back up. All in all a good unit for the price!

I was surprised by how light it is. Does a great job in cleaning and of course retractable cord is so convenient! Highly recommend it!!

I've only used the vacuum once. It had very minimal assembly, was light weight and really had great suction. So far I'm quite pleased.

Purchased six months ago and I'm pleased thus far. Old Hoover suddenly stopped working and I was having a hard time carrying my old '76 all-metal Eureka upright up & down the stairs. The first time I used it, I had to empty the container after cleaning every room because it was picking up all the dirt my old Eureka was missing. Was hesitant about a bagless model, but now I plan to purchase another one for the upstairs and retire my old Eureka.

Love the machine; the power, it is light weight and the cord retraction is fabulous. My only issue with this sweeper is the cord location is flawed. All my canister sweepers have had the cord exit/enter the machine in the center of the back or at least 1/3 the way from the floor. This machine's cord enter/exits at the rear near the floor so each time you pull it back to you it runs all over the cord. I always hold the cord in my free hand anyway, but with this machine it isn't enough to hold it up off the floor, you have to keep it taught or it becomes necessary to lift the machine off the cord constantly throughout operation. I miss foot operated height adjustment with this machine, but for the money it works just fine.

I had to buy a new vacuum cleaner. My ex girlfriend took her hoover nano vacuum with her when she left. Before she left I cleaned the carpets in the house the nano pulled dust hair dirt out of the carpets. The carpet looked clean. After getting the new sweeper i was interested in seeing if the new sweeper would pull out more dirt from the carpet. I used the sweeper for the first time and it pulled so much more dirt out of the carpet i was very impressed. I also picked up a second one because my mom's first generation hoover rewind had a motor bearing wear out and killed the sweeper. That sweeper was 13 years old. This new rewind is much heaver than the old model which imo means the motor is stronger and should last for a long time. My only problem with buying the vacuums was the store sales staff at my local store. Long story short I checked online to make sure my store had the sweeper in stock. I went there they don't have the vacuum on display i was able to look the model up faster on my cell phone then their fancy tablet. I was the one who spotted the the vacuum up on the extra inventory rack. The sales person was unable to lift the up and carry it down the movable staircase. She had to call over another sales person to help get them down. Finally Best buy gave me a code that could be for 5 dollars off up to 5000 dollars off. The sales person was unable to check me out and sent me up to the regular check out after spending 10 minutes trying to check me out in the back of the store. the code was good for the 5 dollars off but next time i will just order online and lose out on the extra savings if it means wasting an extra 30 minutes in the store

The vacuum works well, a little bit heavy; however it is an excellent product that will get the job done. Plus, there is an automatic cord retractor that saves alot of time once the job is done. No more cord unwinding.

Bought this vacuum about 6 months because we thought our Dyson was too strong for our new carpeting - boy was that a mistake. This vacuum was a real waste of money and we are very disappointed. We will buy another Dyson now that we know how a well-made vacuum compares to the Hoover WindTunnel 2. Yes, you will pay more for a Dyson, but you get what you pay for. The WindTunnel 2 Rewind has a very nice retractable power cord feature which is about the only good thing I can say about it. This vacuum is cheaply made, 'pushes' dust around on hard floors, attachments always fall off, and it produces a burning smell after only running it for a little bit. It is a bag-less vacuum, but the suctioned dirt is not contained at all and just not well made in general. For a more realistic review assessment of this vacuum I would recommend checking out Hoover.com - I know I wish I had! ;>)

This vacuum is great if you are looking for a cheap device to clean your floors. Short comings of this particular model are that you trade cord length for internal canister space. If you want to have a larger space and longer cord that doesn't wrap up automatically then go for that model. Other difference may be that it is easier to clean out as the canister is much larger and doesn't collect around filter as much. Can be difficult to clear out if you have large hands. Great buy non the less. Would buy again. I personally don't like to have to wrap up the cord after each use. Many models with slightly difference schemes of color should mean lots of spare parts on market for repair. Popular brand/make can find at most retailers.

Just have to avoid belt breaks other than that the filter is easy to clean, easy to empty out swept up material...it works great at collecting pet hair...the hose suction is the best ive seen

This vacuum is exactly what I was looking for. I don't have any pets, so this is perfect for me. I love the auto-cord, so you don't have to worry about winding it back up when you're done.

Works great, power switch in a somewhat awkward location though. To be able to press a button that sucks the plug back into the vacuum without manually winding it is a godsend.

Very easy to use and to empty, it uses no bags that's a plus and it is real strong.

Loved this Hoover. It cleaned far better than my Eureka Boss and brought new life and vitality to my carpeting. I could feel the lift and spring it gave my rug.

It's a vacuum, not something I'm going to spend a lot of time thinking about. Has decent suction, better than others at this price. Easy to put together and empty. Kudos to a product that does what you want it to, without having to think about it or having it aggravate you.
