I bought this vacuum to replace one that had lost suction. I am impressed with the suction and how much more I seem to be picking up with each pass of the vacuum. The settings on the height of the flooring actually makes a difference and that is impressive. Over all a great purchase, just concerned about how long it will last, seems like it may have been built cheaply, but no problems in over a month.

Great value for the price. I love the retractable cord. I actually wanted a different Hoover model but it was out of stock and I do not regret my purchase of this model. Two passes usually gets the job done. The only issue that I really have is I am annoyed by the cord being on the same side as the hand I like to push the vacuum with. I know weird problem... Other than that this model performs like a champ.

Outstanding vacuum for the price. The first time we used it, we vacuumed a 4-foot-square section of carpet that we had just thoroughly vacuumed using our existing Dirt Devil vacuum. After vacuuming it again with the Hoover, there was approximately 1/2 inch of dirt in the cup from that tiny area of carpet. Outstanding cleaning, and the cord retraction is nice. Wish the cord were a bit longer, as well as the hose. The dirt cup fills up quickly and is harder to clean than it looks, but that's a minor complaint.

I first bought this vacuum like 4 years ago and I loved it so much that I bought again...This time around I now have a dog in the house and this vacuum sure picks up all of his hair from everywhere.

This product has enough suction that a single pass does the job. Easy for young kids to handle to assist you with their chores.
