This one works great on both upstairs and down. Would give it 5 stars but have not had it long enough to rate reliability, and the cord rewind section means a smaller canister so more frequent emptying.

Awesome Vacuum!!

It is also so easy to empty. I love how the cord gets retracted in. It was such a hassled wrapping up the cord. I would definitely recommend this vacuum!!!

I like the bagless wind tunnel and the self-winding cord features. Great vacuum for the price. I have never been disappointed with a Hoover.

Overall exellent but could have longer hose

All mess is gone from the floor in no time (comparing with old school mop-and-broom) even on hard floor. Just washed sheep rug appeared to be clean but yields a lot of dust in the canister...

The only thing is that this vacuum is a bit heavy so it may be more difficult to move it from room to room. You would be better off wheeling it around.
