It actually never quit but the dirt container connection broke and couldn’t be held together with tape anymore. This new one is same design which is a real pain to empty the dirt container. A real pain to clean it out. The dirt comes out the bottom when opened but so much dust is left behind in the cyclone container that it is a mess. PLUS some engineering genius decided to move the ON/OFF switch from a very convenient position on top of the handle that could be reached with a thumb while holding the handle. New location... on the bottom of the handle half way down to the floor. Now you have to bend down to find the ON/OFF switch. Seriously??????? What genius thought the switch needed to be moved. It was in a better location. Not sure what they were thinking. Change for the sake of change. Might or might not buy it again.
