I got on line & reviewed top vacuums: reasonably priced! I have 3 pets so pet hair is a consideration! I was amazed how well it picks up pet hair!! The suction isn't as good, but it does a good job. Sometimes I have to do an area twice to get all the trash up.. because of the light weight I would recommend

It would be better too if it had a HEPA filter. Also, i don't trust the retractable power cord. I like it now, but the springs failed in past models, so i'm a little wary. I prefer a wound cord, tho for now the retractor is a convenience!
