This vacuum is good on carpets but not much else, including bare floors. The suction is very strong but hard to adjust since the only control is a dial for 4 levels of carpeting on the main motor head. The vacuum is large, clunky and very heavy, making it hard to maneuver. It's also extremely noisy, much moreso than you'd expect in a modern vacuum, There's virtually no "dusting" function. The bendable dusting brush is a great idea, especially when the picture on the box shows someone dusting ceiling fan blades with it, but the attachment itself is a large triangle with stiff synthetic bristles around the outer edge and a large open space in the middle with no detectable suction coming through. When the attachment is connected to the extended wand, the pivot joint can't maintain its angle but flattens if you try to reposition the brush or put any pressure on it. It can't be used as a plain dusting brush on any length wand because the bristles are too stiff to pick anything up. The small "turbo" attachment is good on upholstery but otherwise useless. On the plus side, the vacuum has a large, clear, easy-to-empty dust receptacle, a HEPA filter and the one really great feature that was the chief reason I bought it -- a cord rewind button. That does work, and works well, but it also makes the happiest moments with this vacuum turning it off and putting it away. So overall, it's very good on basic carpet cleaning, at least on low-to-medium pile carpets, but I wouldn't recommend it for anything else and am already thinking about replacing it.

Great inexpensive unit with great suction power. Long cord is a plus

Does a very good job o cleaning, but would be much easier to use if the on- off switch was located higher on handle to make it easier to turn off and on. The retractable cord is fantastic. I probably should have rated higher because of that feature.

Vacuum works ok, picks up pretty good but pet attachment doesn't work well. Vacuum is very bulky and heavy, wouldn't recommend for large houses with multiple floors

The canister cracked on our original purchase. We had purchased a protection plan on this product (as we do with most items now). Best Buy was able to replace our original purchase with the same exact product. Like the ease of use with this vacuum.

When we brought the vacuum home we expected to use it right away. It was easy to get out of the box and assembly quickly. It worked great and we had no issues. The only thing that was concerning was that it got pretty hot while vacuuming. So we will continue to use it and monitor.
