I really picks up everything on the floor. It's easy to empty, and has a convenient retractable cord. Evry attachment you could possibly need

This is an old style heavier vacuum. We keep it upstairs where most of are carpeting is located. The accessories work well for dusting and on hard flooring. When we feel the need for a heavy duty vacuum I take it down stairs to our 1st floor. It is A bit heavy sor me as I will be 72 next month,but it does do A wonderful job.

So far this vacuum has worked great. Plenty of suction to keep our floors clean.

This is better than the $400 Dyson I had for nearly a decade! Better vacuum power, a really nifty auto-respool for the cord, and the attachments are easy to use and well-thought out. I am really impressed with Hoover. Probably the best vac I've ever owned, and it was a steal at the $119 sale price, but even at the $160-170 retail price, it's worth every penny! The carpet looks 5 years younger! Highly recommend this product!

Okay I tried the Dirt Devil and Shark which is way too small and I can say nothing is better that a good ol Hoover. Strong power, wide brush and good quality and variety of attachments. Don't waste time just get a Hoover

I am sure I looked at all the specks but still find this a bit heavy to push. I love the crevice tool to clean out my dryer trap but the hose is hard to manage, The vacuum does a great job on the carpets, still feel it was a good purchase.

Great sweeper for the price. Nice features bagless, retractable cord,all attachments on board and light weight.

We were not convinced that a bagless vacuum would work for us, but this vacuum is a super cleaning machine. It is easy to use, lightweight and easy to convert from floor cleaning to tools. It is so surprising to see how much dirt, dust and pet hair it picks up. Dumping the basket can be messy but once you get the hang of it - no problem. Great price for a great machine. Be careful not to over extend the cord.

This vacuum is almost TOO powerful !! Can barely use it on our deep pile shag area rug because of the power (even at the highest setting) but it does pull the dirt & hair from all our other carpets like a champ. Can't beat the performance for the price !!

So I researched the Hoover vacuum because my old Hoover wasn’t cleaning well after 8 years. I have a long haired cat and it kept leaving clumps of hair on the rug. The first time I used this vacuum, you should have seen how much dust and hair it pick up! Very powerful and easy to use . Also I like that it is bagless. No hassles! Great purchase!!

I am a dyson person, but I could not spend another fortune on a vacuum. This vacuum has a better suction than the dyson, I love the retractable cord. When I use this on my wood floors, I use the brushes, the vacuum acts like it is self-propelled and guides itself. The only thing I wish it had is the ability to put the attachments on the end of the handle, instead of having to convert the hose to the attachments, It also runs a little hot which was mentioned in other reviews. I hope it lasts, I love it!!

A NICE VACCUMN.HEAVY TO LIFT, AND SORT OF CLUMSY TO TRY TO USE ATTACHMENTS......I DONT CARE FOR THE CONCEPT OF A TUB OF DIRT TO EMPTY... ,AS I LOVED MY CANISTER TYPE VACUMN,BUT OVER ALL ITS OK.I AM TRULY AMAZED WITH THE SUCTION POWER,IF IT JUST WEREN'T SO HEAVY AND HARD TO USE .WHY PUT AN ON OFF BUTTON WAY DOWN IN THE MIDDLE OF THE VACUMN,SHOULD IT NOT BE ON TOP?

I love this vacuum so much I have boughten it a couple times so I could have on upstairs and downstairs.

Great basic vacuum with HEPA filter that is also bagless. Has great suction and does a great job on carpet. Drawbacks are that it is a bit heavy and not overly maneuverable, but these aren't serious. Overall this is a good, basic vacuum that does a nice job.

pretty decent vacuum, i like that it has a cord dispenser/retrieval system instead of the normal wrap. Havent had any issues yet, and would only point out that the triangular head for the brush i wish the joint was a little snugger and didnt move with the slightest touch.

this is my first vacuum cleaner, and I will say I had NO idea my carpets were as dirty as they were until using this. it actually goes deep into the carpet to get all the carpet cleaner build up, as well as dust and random dirt. I also really appreciate the button to retrieve the cord into the vacuum instead of manually having to wrap it around the vacuum. very good product for the price

So many choices & how do I choose were my thoughts! The sales person helped me & this was a great choice at a great price & this vacuum is really good!

Only assembly needed was dealing with one screw. So that was very easy. It works well on low & medium high carpets. It is less efficient on bare floors. It leaves some dust & some pet hair behind. I love the retractable cord! Another nice feature is the easy-to-remove dirt cup. It also has a "red light indicator" which warns you if something is wrong.
