Retractable power cord makes storing it very easy. Hose is very stretchy and extends about 20 feet. Great price for the product!

This model seems to be very touchy with it's electronics. It shuts off after using it for awhile. You can only do one room and then it shuts off. Have to let it rest before you can resume cleaning. Maybe Best Buy can give me some help with this.

Posted .Hi Ksherburn, thank you for reviewing the Hoover WindTunnel 2 Whole House Rewind Upright Vacuum. Your vacuum has a safety feature called 'Thermal Protector' designed into your cleaner to protect it from overheating. When the thermal protector activates, the cleaner will stop running. When this happens, unplug it from the electrical outlet and empty the dirt cup. Inspect the nozzle inlet, hose connector, hose, dirt cup inlet, pre-motor filters, and HEPA filters for any obstructions and clear obstructions if present. When your cleaner is unplugged and the motor cools off for 30 minutes, the thermal protector will deactivate and cleaning may continue. We hope this helps improve your experience! This machine overheats after 1 room. I've got 7. It does the job just fine, but it's a $100 vacuum. I just have to pause after each room to let her breath again. The higher Hoover models work fantastic this one works fine for my hundred dollars.

The only problem I had with this vacuum was that the suction was so strong that it would suck itself hard against the carpet such that it was near impossible to move. There was no adjustment that I could find to raise the vacuum up higher. I don't know if this was a defect or if this is just the way it is.

Did not regain it until completely disassembled, washed and let dry as recommended. Pet hair/stair attachment does not work very well. Don't like where the power button is located. Hose doesn't seem to extend as long as advertised. Do however like the rotatable attachment. I probably would not buy this again and would try something else.
