I personally would not recommend it though, it won't pick up kitty litter off a hardwood floor on the lowest setting with the brush stopped (slings it out with brush on). Also using the hose is a pain, the 'telescopic' wand collapses easily and you don't get much reach. I don't use this for anything but my rugs, I use a MM canister vac for everything else...
