I decided to splurge and get a nice vacuum instead of my $50 walmart ones I usually get. It is extremely bulky and heavy and the suction is awful! It over heats to the point it is HOT to the touch. I don't know if I just got a bad one but I threw the box out already and can't return. I've used it twice. I would go with a different vacuum. I'm so disappointed. Waste of money.

I was disappointed to find out that the suction power is not that great. The model looks nicer, but the quality is just not there.

It's a good buy for medium/high grade vacuum

I really like the attachment that can take off dirt from ceiling fans, high curtains, and lamp shades, that's great! The price was very good for what this machine can do. It seems tough and durable. I love the retracting cord.

Awful. Cheap Piece of Garbage

Putting it together all the pieces were lightweight, cheap pieces of plastic that felt like they would break if you looked at it the wrong way. The suction wasn't very good and it made an awful noise winding down after being powered off. Bought a Eureka and it works great. Shame on Hoover.
