Nice vac but not for me.

It does a good job cleaning but it is too awkward and too cumbersome to lug up and down my stairs for me since I am in my 60's and dealing with a disability. The "locking" extension wand is anything but...it will NOT lock.

It worked well for a short while. The suction was good. The suction through the hose stopped working at about 3 months in when it no longer returnable.

Posted .Hi Deed, thank you for reviewing the Hoover WindTunnel 2 Whole House Rewind Upright Vacuum. We recommend checking to see if there is a clog in your vacuum or filter. Turn off the unit and disconnect the nozzle to remove the debris. Also check the hose for any built up debris, and use the handle of a broom to remove. We also recommend checking the filter by removing it from your vacuum and tapping out any built up dirt/debris that could be resting on it. Rinse the filter with water until the water runs clear and allow a dry time of 24-36 hours. We hope this improves your suction! RIP Hoover 07/2021 - 01/2022

Worked ok as a vacuum up until then but noisy as a freight train and not overly great on longer carpet or pet hair. Our household tends to eat vacuums at an alarming rate due to 3 long haired dogs but this one was shorter lived than most.
