Read manual front to back and nothing. Where the canister and suction body meet there’s a serious design flaw. Lose suction from the get go. Waiting for Christmas traffic to die down to return. Extremely disappointed and now know why it was on sale so cheaply. Dyson here I come.

Also, vacuum cleaner emitted a strange smell when running. Could not find any local warranty service so returned unit to store.

The design is totally wrong for this machine they have the cord return directly on top of the breather vents for the motor which is why I believe it overheats

Posted .Hi Jessica, thank you for reviewing the Hoover WindTunnel 2 Whole House Rewind Bagless Upright Vacuum. We recommend checking to see if you have a clog in your vacuum or filter. Turn off the unit and disconnect the nozzle to remove any debris. While you have the filter removed rinse it under running water until the water runs clear and allow dry time before replacing it into your vacuum (24-36 hours). Horrible vacuum

I tried to get assistance for months. Best Buy would not allow me to return or exchange it (when it first went out) and hoover never returned my calls. 2 years later I'm still upset. I'll never purchase anything made by Hoover again

Do not buy this vacuum

The rotating brush broke within a month and when the rubber band was replaced it still did not work. Save yourself the trouble and buy a Bissel instead. This vacuum is complete garbage! Bestbuy should stop selling it
