      Hi Dlg3803, thank you for reviewing the Hoover WindTunnel 2 Whole House Rewind Upright Vacuum. Here are some helpful tips to improve the suction: check to see if the filter or nozzle is clogged. Turn off the unit and disconnect the nozzle to remove the debris. Also check the hose for any built up debris, and use the handle of a broom to remove. After checking the hose, please be sure to securely connect the hose to your vacuum. We also recommend checking the filter by removing it from your vacuum and tapping out any built up dirt/debris that could be resting on it. Rinse the filter with water until the water runs clear and allow a dry time of 24-36 hours. We hope this improves your suction!       Hi ArchieBangz! That doesn't sound right. We want to help. If your vacuum isn't picking anything up, please try this: The long hose is designed to be removed completely. You can run a broomstick through the hose to check for clogs. The lower hose could also be checked for clogs. You can use a grabber tool or something similar and remove anything found here. The filter in the lid of the dirt cup is washable with water. Once washed, please allow it to air dry for 24 hours. We recommend doing this after every 4-6 uses f the vacuum. Turn the vacuum on its side while it is on to check if the brushroll is spinning. If it isn’t, the belt may need to be changed. This should get you vacuum up and running again.     My house has hardwood, linoleum, carpet, and a thick rug. The vacuum easily picked up everything. It was easy to assemble. The crevice tool is stored inside the wand. The packing instructions didn't indicate that. It is easy to discharge the dust from the canister but if the dust gets past the fill line, you may have to pull some out by hand. I really think it is a great value. My house is a smaller ranch. It is a solid performer with a good size to fit in a closet that is perfect for apartment dwellers, small to medium homes, and occasional users. I was considering spending money for a Dyson but this will meet my needs at a much more affordable price, it might be noisier than many others.
