I have had this vacuum for the past couple of years and it has served me well and is still going strong I thought I would leave a review at 2 years in on it. When we first bought our new home we all carpet floors on both levels. So it pretty much got daily use to keep the place clean until we started putting in tile and hardwoods. Since then it has also taken on many area rugs in the house including a 1.75" shag thick plush rug. This thing is a little power house for an inexpensive vacuum and has never ruined anything. I love all the attachments but I must admit my absolute favorite thing about this vacuum is the rewind cord. I love that and will always love that. Its so effortless, clean, and fun to just step on the button and let it do it. 1 thing to note. I step, release, rep, release towards the end to keep from getting slammed by a plug in the calf. If you do it full blast and do not release near the end to slow its rewind down than be prepared...lol

I bought this to supplement a re-chargeable vacuum that was not getting the mounds of hair my dog left everywhere. Out of the box, this vacuum was really powerful and within minutes I had filled the canister with dog hair my other vacuum missed. Great suction. On the other hand, it is very heavy, bulky and difficult to maneuver, especially on stairs. It tipped over and clunked me on the head and it hurt! I am only 5'3" and this machine is tall and definitely weighs over 15 pounds-- I will keep it, but will use it only occasionally to get what my lighter vacuum missed. Wish it were lighter and not so bulky and heavy.

The best Hoover Vacuum I have owned. Carpet looks great and feels super clean. I have had an Oreck XL that was given to me and this vacuum got the dirt and carpet powder let behind by my Oreck XL from previous months. Carpet actually feels softer and move vibrant than previous years. The vacuum has great suction and the tools are amazing to use. the wand and tool for ceilings is great. No bad comments from me. I would tell friends and family about this vacuum. Very easy to assemble and get to cleaning in seconds. Don't miss having a great vacuum and the price was great on sale for 99.00 and retails for much more.

I just bought this today and used it for the first time. I am replacing an old Hoover Elite II 560 (probably 20-25 years old), that I felt might not be cleaning as well as it used to. I had just vacuumed with the old standby a few days ago, but decided to go over the whole condo again with the fresh model. Wow! I expected a bit of dust and debris, but not 1/3 of a filled up canister! This machine sucks up the dirt well , rolls nicely (not too heavy) , has a retractable cord , and some nice attachments. You really can't go wrong for under $160 dollars.

The vacuum has good suction and the roller works on hard floors and plush carpet. Tried others including expensive vacuums but some of those would not keep working on the plush carpet. We now have two of these 1 for the 1st floor and 1 for the 2nd floor. It is important to check for the foot control to turn off the roller. Some versions of this vacuum do not have the roller shut off and have the same model number.

Got it as a gift used it for years til didnt work right anymore

I have owned Hoover vacuum cleaners for 10 or more years. The once’s I had have always been the most powerful & the best. The Hoover I got from Best Buy was light and lack power and the noise it created was very unnerving. It sounded cheap. That is why I returned and bought one with 3 Hoover WindTunnel. Excellent.

I purchased this vacuum today after a lot of research. The assembly is quick and simple. After my first use, I am SO pleased with how well it worked!! I have a pet and this is the best vacuum I have ever used. I am shocked on how much my old vacuum missed. Definitely adulted well today !!

Love it, good price, quick pickup time, repeat purchase. The old one was over ten years old. Hope this one lasts as long.
