This is the second time I’ve bought this vacuum in the last 8 years. It’s solid, especially for the price. Does exactly what it’s suppose to and has a good life span. The only cons I see to this are: it’s a bit loud and for some reason the retractable cord mechanic seems poorly made—otherwise, it’s a great product.

There will be a slight gap between the dust tank and the hose, to close it just turn the vacuum on and let it pull it closed through suction! Vacuum requires some slight set up. I don’t have many rugs and only use it occasionally and it works great for that

After a month of use, I think this thing works good. I gave it 3 stars based on the fact that I got it on sale for pretty cheap (about $70-$80). So for the sake of value to performance, it gets 3 stars. House info: 3 kids under 4. 1 shedding chocolate lab. Using on a 5 plus year old carpet that's relatively "low" in terms of level (bare floor to high carpet). Pros: -This things seems to have really good suction (we'll see how long that lasts). -The vacuum "brush" turns off when it locks in to upright position. This makes it easier/better for using the hose. It also saves electricity and is a lot less 'loud'. -There is a good "pull/push" to it when sweeping. Doesn't take a ton of effort. -It's inexpensive. Cons: -The absolute main thing that keeps this from getting another star is the bagless dirt retainer (or whatever you want to call it). This may be a different experience from others, but it opens from the bottom and the dirt and hair does not just "fall out"... I have to reach in there and get it out with my fingers or a utensil. It's a tight fit, I can't reach in past my knuckles, and it gets very messy getting everything out of there. -Even though I considered the "brush" turning off in upright position as a pro, it is also a con for me. One of the tricks I use to sweeping steps is to use a sweeper in upright position to clean the main 'plain' of each step. From there I use the hose/tools to get the hard to reach spots. It cuts the time in half and takes less effort. -Although I haven't done a thorough cleaning of the actual unit, it doesn't look like it's going to be easy to disassemble and clean all the parts...

Love the features and performance, onboard tools, retractable power cord, no bags with an easy empty canister, agitator that you control on-off operation. It performs well and always does a good job.

Great vacuum for the price. Not heavy to handle and really cleans the carpet and picking up dirt.

Vacuum works great,able to clean whole house up and down stairs with no problem. don't need to worry about batteries running out.
