Very good for my apartment, all floors and carpets are short so this is an excellent purchase. I can't comment on anything relating to rugs or longer carpeting, but perfect for my situation.

Durable machine, but it does lose suction after awhile. It has easy to use components and accessories. Wire does auto-rewind, which is a nice feature. Its also bagless. The belt may break, but easy to find replacement at bestbuy.com or Ebay.

Light weight easy to handle and manage going up and down stairs

I've owned many Hoover's over my lifetime, especially this series. It's a wonderful vacuum, not too heavy, picks up lots of pet hair, and has a nice style to it. The attachments work great for stairs, curtains, and corner spots where it's hard to vacuum. The last Hoover I had, an older model/verison of this one lasted many years. As long as you clean the rinsable filter, they are made to last unlike many other brands!

Tried dyson also but wife didn’t like it due to the power button on this, on dyson u have to hold on for it to keep running and with this just turn it on and clean ur stuff, powe wise i think dyson is more powerful but this will do its job. Hey if wife says she want this not dyson so i am happy to save money with this.

This vacuum is absolutely to best machine around. My old vacuum died and I needed a new one quickly to help with pet and grandchildren messes all day. It arrived quickly, took no time to set it up and it has impressed me since day one. The suction is awesome and gets a work out each and every day without any problems.

Powerful suction. Picks up dirt and lint. Love attachment to vacuum sofa ,walls and ceiling fan. My reason for 4 stars is because their is no space for the small attachment. It keep falling off from the space provided on vacuum cleaner

This vacuum may seem huge but it's really not that heavy. From 3-4 weeks of use, I love this vacuum because of the rewind button that pulls in your cord without doing it manually and the many features of suction level based on your carpet surface ( I used level 3 because my carpet is thick). This definitely was an upgrade from the last $50 vacuum I bought!

The vacuum cleaner works okay, but cleaning it is a hassle. The instructions say to twist the top of the cylinder to remove the filter for cleaning, but it won’t budge and come off.

Picks up dirt well on carpet. Love the attachments. Wind up cord is the best!

You can never go wrong with a Hoover! Our old one took a lot of abuse and after someone in the household used it outside to clean ... well we needed a new one. This one is improved and again we love the brand. That retractable cord is a big plus.

it does it's job, very powerful and easy to user friendly

After just getting started using it, I feel it will work for me and our house. I like having a longer hose that extends to places that are hard to reach. It seems to have good suction. Our carpet is brand new so it took some time figuring out what level I needed so I didn't have to push too hard when moving it back and forth.
