I'm a huge fan of westerns. After seeing the previews I was excited to watch Hostiles. Sadly, the previews were as good as this western got. The scenery was excellent and the actors held their own but it was the story that disappointed. It went nowhere and it went nowhere very, very slowly. The characters never really had a chance to shine and illustrate to the audience the vast richness of themselves. Instead, the actors just meandered from scene to scene. The action and story were minimal as was the movies ability to retain the interest of the audience. This movie was so disappointing that I IMMEDIATELY sold my brand new copy on Ebay at a loss. Just to be rid of it. That's how much I disliked it. This coming from someone who owns over 1000 movies and tends to keep even mediocre ones. But hey, don't take my word for it. Go out and be disappointed all by your lonesome. That way I can say, "I told you so."

Oh my, movie was not at all what we expected. Boring! A sleeper!

The 4k quality really looks lack luster ... Like a regular bluray .... The movie wasnt that great either ... Wasted 30.00 on it ... Borrow it from a fruend and if you love it buy it ... Otherwise you'll have buyers remorse like i do (-:

Had a good cast with solid acting, but movie was just too slow and boring for me.
