This movie is a hoot when it comes to just how much fads & culture in the mid 80's were such a big deal. Anyone who was in their late teens to early twenties will pick up on all the classic things that made the 80's a time to remember (or be ashamed of). Both Rob Corddry & Crispin Glover shine in their roles. If you pay attention closely you'll hear references to well know lines from movies of the past that the director put it as an homage. I never get tired of Crispin Glover's kookie characters he creates in movies and this is no exception. Every scene with him was over-the-top and the anticipation of his arm's demise was out of left field. Adult humor and nudity make this an adult's comedy favorite but not for the kids.

Fun movie to watch with the kids gone. Mostly adult humor in this movie, and lots of 80's references. The idea for this movie is not really original but it is a fun way to re-explore the whole "if you could go back in time what would you do differently" thing. Casting is good. The actors fit their parts well. The DVD is decent quality. I didn't get the Blu-ray because I knew there wasn't going to be any mind blowing special effects and I don't need the extra quality. The Blu-ray is actually cheaper than the DVD as I write this.

I honestly thought this movie looked stupid. I was so wrong. It is one of the funniest movies I have ever seen. It is what every slap stick comedy should be. It is just funny from start to finish. There is no romantic comedy tie in. No sappy ending that appeals to the ladies. It is just stupid funny all the way through. I have been waiting for someone to make a movie like this for a while. Trust me, you will find yourself quoting this one a lot. I know I do. Great drinking movie too.

Many have compared this movie to The Hangover, but I personally think it's funnier. It has some moments that seem like filler, and hence, aren't funny, but overall, this flick is hilarious. There may be some pop-culture references from the 80s that young people won't get, but I'd still recommend this flick to anyone who loves comedies.

If you like comedies that aren't supposed to make you think about a joke, this movie is for you. I've seen so many comedies rated higher than this one that don't even come close. Interested to see if they actually go through with a sequel. I hope not though because when have comedy sequels actually improved upon the original?

I was a little afraid that the best parts of the movie were the ones shown in the commercial previews but I needent have worried. This movie was very funny and a great 80's cult classic throwback. I have watched this several times since it came out on DVD and it never loses its funniness.

as a child of the 80s, it was fun to see how they related to that awkward decade. lots of laughs (some of them about gross stuff), but still highly recommended.

With a name like Hot Tub Time Machine, of course you shouldn't take this too seriously. Great simple story, and I love the Chevy Chase role (although small it's funny).

This movie was much funnier than I thought it would be given the odd theme and title. Thought it was much funnier than the Hangover!

I bought this because it was the last movie I ever rented from Blockbuster. Ah, nostalgia... It was just as funny as I remembered.

If you liked Hang Over, you will love Hot Tub Time Machine. Great 80's music and lots of funny scenes.

funny movie, Unrated version is hilarious!!!!!!! Craig Robinson is hillarious and John Cusack is serious funny. And you cant forget Chevy Chase he played his normal funny role. Great movie

Some very funny lines, but drawn out storyline. Nice to have the normal DVD to share with friends that are stuck in the early 2000's.

It was a good laugh that I would reccomend to adults but certainly not children. I thought it was worth investing in.
