Count Dracula and the gang get back together for the birth of Dracula’s grandson. Being half monster and half human, dracula becomes obsessed with teaching him the ways of a monster

This second outing with the classic Universal monsters, is still fun, but the humor and heart are just a little less sharp than the original.

Sad to say like most sequels this one has a lot to live up to the original If you're a fan of the first Hotel then enter the second with a clear head because though it is good it just doesn't have the same feel. That's not a bad thing--it's a solid movie but one of those I'm glad I didn't go to the theater to see. Movie has some solid plot for a kid, and a nice turn at the end though 30-40 minutes to get there seemed a stretch. a second solid plot or two might have helped. If a third one is to come I hope they put more into it but hopefully kids will love it nonetheless. They need a maybe recommend button-some friends yeah others no.

Hotel Transylvania was quiet fun. Most of the gags were predictable, but it was entertaining and slightly different. Hotel Transylvania 2 show nothing new, just continues the gags, (or repeats them). I half expected Mel Brooks' addition to spice things up somewhat, but nothing came from that either. In all another lightweight, family friendly movie. It has some moments, but essentially waddles down the same path as the first.

We are always a bit skeptical about sequel because they rarely live up to the original movie. This sequel was not quite as good as the original but it was a pretty good movie overall. It still retained much of the charm and humor of the original while taking the gang on a road trip. The movie looks beautiful and the colors pop; it looks great on blu! Overall recommended, just don't expect it to top the original.

I love Adam Sandler, but this movie was the exact same as the Grown Ups 2 plot. I was very disappointed, and was bored within the first 10 minutes. I'm sure for a kid, they wouldn't really notice, but it's one of those movies if you've seen it once you don't have to see it again.

Usually the audience rating at Rotten Tomatoes is pretty accurate. When the Critics and audience agree, it very accurate. This time the critics were right. The jokes were corny, the recurring theme was not that great. Glad I got it on DVD instead of paying theater prices.

Hotel Transylvania 2 was a decent movie, but doesn't come close to the entertainment value in the first movie. I do give it 3-staras because it is still decent and worth the purchase, and also for some of the subtle background jokes (hint: video screens).

I loved the first one. Second one played off the first one, just imitating the first and retelling the same joke under slightly different circumstances. Same with sight gags. Nothing new really developed. Lots of time fill on what is a simple story.

So without spoiling the main plot, the same characters return to see to as well as oversee the progress of the Adam Sandlers (Count Dracula's) grandson. After a lot of Blah blah blah.... they find out he is a monster aferall or is he ?

HT2 is good, but not nearly as funny as the first. It almost seems like they felt obligated to have a sequel, but didn't put any heart into it. If I had the purchase to do over I would probably decide to save the $$$ and not buy 3D.

Not as good as the1st, but still has it charm and edgy of the first, seem as if the Sandler crew wanted to pull a Grown Ups 2, but the story and directed kept the story in place, just wasn't that much of original story

This time out, Adam Sandler co-writes with returning joke meister Robert Smigel. That Smigel sired Triumph, the Insult Comic Dog pretty much earns him a lifetime pass from me, however, this is not-so-funny business as usual.

Takes a little bit to get going and a bunch of recycled jokes from not only the first film but all of Adam Sandler's movies. On the up side, Mel Brooks does the voice for Vlad, Dracula's (blah blah blah) dad.

My son and I enjoyed the first movie. This one was quite boring until the last 20 minutes or so in the movie. It had it's funny moments but the way Dracula was acting the majority of the movie ended up being annoying.

I bought the Blu-Ray DVD with digital copy hoping to load on my kids iPads but only able view with wifi connection and not able to view without. They only can view at home and not in the car or on an airplane.

This one relies on the same old stereotypes of dumb guys and overprotective (grand)parent to make it funny. It has it's moments but as the same time you have to so "really?"

Our family was looking forward to the sequel since we were surprised how much we enjoyed the original movie. This was cute but not nearly as funny as the first one and the plot was a little scattered.

This one just felt forced, like the writers (and Adam Sandler) were trying to rush it through to capitalize on the success of the first one, without giving much thought to the overall story.

While not s good as the first the sequel does bring what it promised, laughs at the inner child in all of us as we remember our own trials .. we'll without the added chore of fanging out.
