Good family movie. Funny, caring, Adam Sandler did a great job playing the father, I was unsure because sometimes when it comes to his stuff, he's too much for kids viewing, but he did an excellent job in this movie.

Halloween is my favorite holiday, so I am always looking for new movies to enjoy with the children. When I saw it on sale I grabbed it and wasn't sorry. We had a great family movie night and the kids loved it!

My 4 year old daughter seen part 2 first on Netflix and really enjoyed it. So we were on a search to find part 1 which is not ok Netflix. We had a movie night and we both enjoyed the movies.

If you're a fan of older Warner Bros style cartoons, you should like this. Can be a bit too much Adam Sandler at times (singing especially seems to be hard to separate the actor from the character) but overall I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed the film. My kids loved it too.

In case you ever wondered what it would be like to backpack across Transylvania and accidentally stumble across all the classic movie monsters, this would be it. Suitable for kids 7 or 8 and older.

One of the best movies I have purchased for the whole family. A very delightful, entertaining, hilarious movie that my husband even enjoyed and laughed along while watching it. A two thumbs up by everyone.

my kid was with me and Best Buy and he saw this movie and said he wanted it since then he's been in love with it thinks its funny as can be sit down watch it once or twice with him and it's pretty good

Would recommend this movie if you can find it on sale. Fun characters, easy to follow, understand story, plenty of humor. Language is clean throughout. There are a few "toilet humor" moments, but are very mild. As a father of three, I laughed out loud several times, my kids much more.

my little brother and niece really loved this movie it was on sale for 10.99 great price for 3D . It's worth the movie . Good plot and great actors makes you get ready for the second one coming soon .

I had no expectations of this movie, but it was on sale so I bought it for my daughter who is six. I can honestly say she has watched it a hundred times. It is a cute movie and I am happy we got it!

Since we grabbed the second movie in this series first, we had to come back and get this one. Great decision on our part as our grown children got lots of laughs at us for watching it with them.

I liked the ending when the main characters rapped/sang at the end of the movie! Hilarious! Also, I enjoyed watching the entire movie as well!

This is a great family movie, for kids all ages. I watched this movie in 3D . Effects were cute. I recommend this movie. Bought it on sale at Best Buy. You can still buy it on sale . Worth $15.

I recently saw Hotel Transylvania 2 and thought it was adorable so of course I needed to see the original. I found this movie for a great price during their flash sale and it looks amazing in 3D

hilarious, but the only bad thing was that it did not come with a digital code. the kids watch it over and over and over again

Super cute movie with great voices. It's nice to see an animated film that's not like any others before it. My son laughs all the way through it, especially when people mock Dracula with, "Blah, blah, blah."

We got a super good deal on the movie. My daughter is almost 4 and she prefers the first movie over the second so she had to have it. Great for the child’s collection.

This little animated family flick speaks more of fear than anything else - a parent's fear of a child being hurt by the outside world. But it also speaks of fear of change as well. We all have it. I loved the movie! I bought it and I can't wait for the sequel. Thumbs up!

I wasn't sure that I would like this move, but I was pleasantly surprised by it. It's not your typical Adam Sandler movie...there's enough here to keep you and you family entertained. If you like comedies and like classic monster characters, you'll probably like this movie.

This movie hits all the right notes with an awesome collection of classical and comical characters! A great story and message as well! Just might be a little to frightening for some of the little ones.
