It is spacious & I especially love the extra shelf on the bottom of the door. It is easy to clean & easy to move if you have to clean behind. The freezer is just as spacious. This refrigerator is good to have if you have small kitchen. I also love the handles on the sides of the doors. It is a slim refrigerator with a lot of space.

It’s a good fridge so far but lacks the durability of a fridge …meaning shelves are not the sturdiest & no lunchmeat drawer. The freezer is small. We have another freezer so works for us. It has its good & bad points.

The humming can be a little loud but I’ve gotten used to it. I loved that for the other little noises it may make they are addressed in the manual.

We’re glad you’re loving the size of your great, new Hotpoint Refrigerator and that its helping with the overflow from your kitchen fridge! -- As far as garage installation, the recommendations are as follows: Do not install the refrigerator where the temperature will go below 55°F (because it will not run often enough to maintain proper temperatures) or above 100°F (because it will not perform properly). -- We hope this is helpful and please feel free to reach out anytime if you have any other questions we can assist with.
