Great Story and a interesting addition to the HBO franchise

The story line is slow, and it takes a long time for any thing to happen. Sometimes the main actor talks directly to the camera like he is talking directly to you,, I guess the director thinks this is cool, just seems silly to me! The story has been done a 1000 times before.

This pace of the show is a little different than I am used to...a little slower...also not a fan of actors talking to the camera but love Kevin Spacy so that makes it worth watching.

Purchased before subscribing to Netflix. If Kevin Spacey doesn't make you squirm at all....then I'd recommend this?

So, because of the one corrupted disc, we missed 30 minutes of one of the episodes. A pain to try to return one disc out of 3 though.

Very Good. I intend to follow up on future seasons. Cast is excellent Good sets and plot.

Kinda slow at times but still good I would recommend to others

Disk 1, first three chapters showed lead character to be corrupt. Disk 2 would not play. Bought a new player, it still would not play. Disk 3 played most of one chapter, then locked up. Contacted Sony and was instructed to carefully package Disk 2 & 3, take to Fed Ex for free shipment. Expect replacement disk in 5 to 6 weeks.

Couldn't get past the first few episodes I loved west wing and was hoping this would be at least some what the same but I was so bored

I've watched a LOT of tv over the years, I've watched critically acclaimed shows of all kinds and when I say this is the best season of television (not necessarily the best overall if you count season 2 & 3) trust me that means something. The acting, directing, scripts...it's like a 5 star dining experience, you just can't get enough, I would rewind scenes just to enjoy them again and again because it was all so good, if you have any interest or like political dramas this show about a man who will do anything to rise to the top of the worlds most powerful stage is simply a MUST WATCH (as cliche as that sounds). I can not recommend this show enough, it's truly an incredible piece of art.
