This is the type of show that you watch in a matter of days... because you can't turn it off! It's so addicting! Fantastic writing and acting! This is one of the best series of the decade. I prefer having the Blu-Ray/DC because I believe this is the type of show you watch more than once. It can bought cheaply if you get the right sale, plus not everyone keeps Netflix year round. I definitely recommend picking this up -- but pick up season 2 with it so you can continue the binge without interruption! :)

The season which kicks off this new classic is presented on blu-ray in great detail by Netflix. While the transfer is excellent, one does which that there were some special features contained on the discs, although it contains none (Netflix does remedy this a bit with Season Two’s release, however.) The show’s the thing though, and this is must-see television.

Kevin Spacey is absolutely amazing. The show features, by far, some of the man's best work in his legendary career. It also features a stellar supporting cast, fascinating twists and turns and a cinematic vibe not normally found in television. You'd never know that the show was made "for the web" just by watching it. House of Cards is a truly game changing show.

Kevin Spacey playing actor and commentator gives it a unique touch and you can't wait for the next chapter. If there are future chapters I hope he remains the actor. You will see what I mean. This show is great for anyone who likes complicated plots involving intrigue. The characters aren't very likeable but I often find that doesn't matter. I still want to know what will happen each and every single episode. Each episode is also entertaining and draws you in. My only problems with the show are that the plot and characters are sometimes too crazy to be believed. Overall though, if you can get over this problem, it's a show that will keep you entertained and wanting more.

My family and myself love this so much. Its twisted and so deep. Get both seasons and prepare to get addicted. Kevin Spacy and Robin Wright are amazing, along with a host of other actors portraying flawed and rich characters.

Kevin Spacy is one of a kind and perfect for this Political Drama and in some ways out JRs JR Wish this was on another medium other then Netflix it needs a larger audience.

This is must-see TV series and chances are that you will not stop after a few episodes. It has been a marathon watching session a year apart, when I bought Season 2. Highly recommended for a tight script and acting.

This show never ceases to amaze. Every episode is stellar, with great plot twists. Definitely one of my favorite dramas. If you haven't seen it, definitely worth the watch. You won't be disappointed.

Netflix made a splash with this TV show and it does not disappointment, Kevin Spacey gives a terrific performance and is very worth of the accolades he has received. Bring on Season 2!!!

I'm not even big into politics but I don't think you really have to be in order to appreciate and enjoy this fantastic show. Gotta love Kevin Spacey.

Didn't have netflix so purchased this series due to people stating it was good. Not disappointed and one of best series out there.

An amazing cast of wickedly cunning characters. You will binge watch this entire season from beginning to end - guaranteed! Enjoy.

We really liked the beginning of this, the complicated political wheeling dealing was fascinating. The final few episodes became more soap opera and the Kate Mara character is hard to believe. We may or may not buy future seasons.

House of cards shows you how corrupt even our own White House can be. Best show on netflix

The House of Cards DVD is outstanding. Also great quality. We are now hooked on this series.
