Says 9 miles distance but it goes 5 miles max and with “turbo” mode on you lucky if you get 4 miles.

Not very long battery and then takes 3 hours to charge when u can hardly drive a. He on very fast mode.

One of the best items I have ever bought at Best Buy. I go running twice a week & my son loves to go with me on his cooter. These item is so fun to use & folds in half for east storage. You can easily get these item into any car. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

I really like this scooter. I bought this due to only living 2 miles from work and not wanting to constantly have to Uber/Lyft too and from. Granted it only goes about 11mph due to my weight, but it gets me where I need to be in 20-25mins and so I can’t ask for something better for the sale price I got it with.

I give it one star because I can’t give it no stars. The scooter was easy to setup and charged accordingly. It worked for about one hour and then it stopped completely. Screen went blank and would not turn back. Don’t buy this.

It doesn’t go up to 9 miles I was really disappointed about that…..I’m 175 pounds so I’m not that heavy….the battery dies super fast and I wish I would have gotten better one….this one is for kids tbh not grown up

Did not work properly, it had a very strange noise. And to make it worst we were charged a restocking fee for return a defective item a week after purchasing it. The manufacturer and the store are a disappointment

OK I’m an adult 6' height around 230-ish weight half-way through the 60's bracket, and this caught my eye as something pretty slick for tootin’ around and honestly a nice new toy to have on hand to show the kids I still got it going on. Out of the box it’s easy peasy just lock the steering column in place and screw in the handles and off you go. The ride is very stable and on an older street it is a little “bumpy” since the wheels are semi-solid and not much for suspension to speak of, although on a smooth street or interior surface it is a very smooth ride. Under ideal conditions, I can get up to 15-ish mph in the “Sport Mode” which is noticeably more powerful than the “Eco” and “Normal” modes. LED headlight is nice but be safe as that isn’t going to get the attention of street traffic – this is not a roadway electric motorcycle – just a little electric scooter for messing around the neighborhood or patrolling the school parking lot. Braking is an electric brake on the handlebars and a “stomper” brake on the back wheel if needed. I found that unless it was a severe situation, just releasing the throttle stops the scooter pretty quickly, and hitting the brakes was usually a little “too much” outside of some type of emergency. Bluetooth speaker is a nice touch at this price point, as it is loud enough to be heard and nothing gets folks laughing out loud like and old-timer on a high-tech electric scooter rocking along to the “Hits of the 70’s” and tootin’ down the street. There are a LOT of Hover-1 models to choose from, and this one seems right for me as it can carry me along quite nicely and has a good bit of battery power, moves smoothly, and has the built-in speaker. More expensive may have a little softer ride with tires and suspension, bigger battery, more lights, and a few other features, but the Highlander lets me have my fun without having to go “top end” to get a nice new toy. If you are a heavier adult, or want more run time, then maybe go up to a higher model – but I’m perfectly satisfied with the Highlander. Peace from Central Georgia!

My boyfriend and I bought a scooter 4 months ago. All of a sudden the scooter stopped working in mid ride. It wont turn on or charge. I have submitted now at least 3 tickets and have tried reaching Hover 1 and they do not respond. I also tried talking to the staff at my nearest Best Buy and they did not seem to care either. All in all just a bad experience. I do not recommend any Hover 1 product to anyone.

Wow, this scooter did not have a good first impression, Hover one always make subpar products, but the ‘clankiness’ and cheap feeling material turned me off to this scooter right away. Never had buyers remorse so fast, avoid this scooter if you can and save up for a slightly more expensive scooter like ninebot. When you feel the stark difference with other scooters, you’ll never go back to this junk. The least I could say is that it works, but I wouldn’t be comfortable giving this to my children.

Was an upgrade for my son from his previous scooter! He absolutely loves it. Has a Bluetooth & goes a little faster than the one he currently has

Bought it for my 13 year old. Range is great and fast enough to get him where he is going. I bought it when it was on sale so it was a great deal for the money.
