Purchased for my son and it stopped working in February. He is still able to ride it manually but that’s no fun when it was intended to be electric.

I loved the scooter the only problem that the two I received were used, I was disappointed with the best buy service on this product.

The worst purchase that I've made. I'm already in the second scooter and after 2 weeks they start to have problems.

My LED light does not work. It will randomly activate when i push the button every other 10 times. I will be returning it.

I tried to charge it and it won’t charge again I paid 220 and did not remember if bestbuy offered insurance

This is literally a piece of trash. Electric motor wasn’t working. Speedometer came broken.

Broke after using it twice. Purchased as a Christmas gift. Sucha disappointment.

IT SAYS IT WILL LAST UP TO 20 MILES AND IT DIES IN 3-4 MILES ON A REGULAR ROAD WITH NO UPHILLS.

It gets the job done. Simple as that. 15 mph flat speed. 11 mph uphill, and up to 20mph downhill. I'm getting 6-8 miles of range Sleek design is lightweight and easy to make quick adjustments to avoid accidents. Durability is average. Try not to get it too banged up. Tighten screws and lubricate axle points when necessary. Overall, awesome scooter.

I was super leery about a scooter, knowing the more $ u spend the better quality. Well this thing is amazing. Charges fast, sturdy build. And I go faster then mentioned and I weigh 180lbs. The design is great and I can take it with me on the trains and buses. It's saved me a headache and a whole lot of sweat. Thanks best buy.

My wife is a nurse and she got an injury which makes it difficult to walk fast / far distances, so we got this scooter to help her get from the parking lot into the hospital where she works, which is about one mile (yep, they make the nurses park that far away!). This was a great solution up until "coincidentally" after the 90 day mark of owning the scooter the battery began to deteriorate rapidly. (note: the product warranty only lasts 90 days). Now that we've had the scooter for about 5 months, it can't even last the full 1 mile from the parking lot into the hospital so she ends up having to push it the rest of the way. It's got a battery life of about 0.5 miles or about 3 minutes on a flat surface. We've contacted Hover-1 directly to try to rectify the situation but they couldn't care less. They're knowingly selling what's essentially a disposable scooter that lasts about 5 months. It's clearly not a one-off defective unit because the company doesn't care to fix the situation. I can only guess they're hoping people buy it, ride around a few times, then leave it in their garage and forget about it. If you actually use it regularly the battery will become useless. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

I used to be grateful for this scooter. I live about a block from my college campus and would commute to and from my class buildings with my Rally scooter, in flatland Florida. I even got groceries and went to the post office with it. The scooter was light and easy to charge every day. I took the best care of it. It didn't have a long range, dying off after riding a mile or two and going at a speed of maybe 6 MPH there on out, but it was still great to me. One day, mid-ride, my scooter stopped completely. The battery or motor just seemed to give out on me. I tried charging it and it did seem to charge, but once it was full and the charger signaled it, it still would not turn on. It never did, and I was left without my invaluable transportation tool. When I contacted support, I received an automated message wishing me a "Merry Christmas" in mid-January, telling me Hover-1 technicians would respond to me within a day. When they finally answered a week later, they essentially told me they would not be able to do anything to help the problem as the product had been with me for longer than their 90 day warranty. I'm certain they do not have battery replacements even if I wanted to purchase it. It almost seemed to me this scooter was meant to self-destruct after 90 days. I did not purchase the Best Buy warranty. Now I have a dead scooter in my living room that I paid more than $60 a month to have, hardly covering the costs of Ubers I would've taken instead. If you want to get a scooter for commuting, look at other options. People need something reliable when they do not have a car at hand or otherwise. This does not have the quality or customer support to help commuters. Other scooters have year-long warranties without additional purchase. This is more of a toy for teens. No battery lasts forever, but I find it unbelievable that it did not last four months. I don't want to support companies that leave me with waste to have no more purpose on the earth. It's your choice, I hope you make the right one.

Spent a lot of money on this for my daughter as a Christmas gift and when she brought it out to use in March, after a week of use it stopped holding the charge and just kept dying. Contacted the company and they sent me a generic email saying your 90 days is up there is nothing we can do for you. Best Buy will not warranty it either because it is up to the manufacture. I am not happy with the product at all. My daughter is 10 years old and now has no scooter and she waited months to use it.

I bought this scooter in mid January. Main use would be to get me to and from work. I live about 1.5 miles away. The first day I used it I didnt think I would have to charge it again seeing that it would take me 28 mins both ways but when I was going home the speed dropped to 6 mph and the bars were red. Also the folding of this scooter is very difficult. I've had it for a few months and the part where it shows the miles you have gone just glitches out and isnt accurate. I'm disappointed with this buy and wish I just saved up to get a better scooter. I recommend this for someone with kids who just wants it to ride around in a neighborhood for fun.

Scooter was dead on arrival. Full charge with power button on but did work. A complete piece of junk. No customer service number to call. They prefer to play email tag back and forth with Q&As.
